Wheel Assembly
- Disassemble your factory wheel by separating the two wheel halves.
- Replace the non-sprocket-side wheel half with the wheel half included in the kit.
- Reinstall the black axle alignment piece, along with the tire and inner tube.
- Secure the two wheel halves together using the supplied bolts and nuts.
- Attach the metal drum to the new wheel half using the provided hardware.
Fork Modification
- Locate the drilling jig included with the kit.
- Place the jig onto the fork to identify the correct drilling location.
- Drill the hole as indicated by the jig.
- Remove the jig once drilling is complete.

Wheel Installation
- Install one axle spacer on the sprocket side and the other on the new wheel-half side.
- Slide the large black band (the piece that fits over the silver drum) onto the wheel assembly.
- Begin installing the wheel into the fork.
- Be sure to route the chain around the sprocket before fully positioning the wheel.
- Slide your axle through the fork/wheel and tighten down your axle nuts.
Brake Assembly
Insert the long black bolt through the hole you drilled on the fork. On the inside of the fork, install the components in the following order:
- Plastic spacer
- Black washer
- Black drum
- Gold bracket
- Black M5 lock nut
Tighten the assembly securely.

Cable and Handle Installation
- Install the brake cable and handle assembly.
- For maximum braking performance, pull up on the gold cable arm until the brake is just about to engage.
- While holding this position, tighten the cable clamp.
- This adjustment ensures the brake begins applying pressure immediately when the handle is pulled, giving you the strongest and most responsive braking action possible.
